WELCOME TO THE CATHOLIC ROBINSON CURRICULUM WEBSITE

In a nutshell, the Catholic Robinson Curriculum is a home study program that resonates with the Robinson Curriculum Homeschool program. We support the educational philosophy of Dr. Art Robinson of teaching the children to "teach themselves". We strongly encourage our viewers to read our success story and purchase the Robinson Curriculum CDs.

We added another "R" to the Robinson Curriculum, also called "Religion" with particular emphasis on Catholic Studies. Our children leapfrogged to a new understanding of our Catholic Faith, when we applied the same "teach yourself" principle. The study of their Catholicism shed new "fire" as they read one Catholic spiritual classic after another.

In this kind of homeschooling approach, I humbly submit myself to the will of God for my children from the time we wake up to the time we retire. As a mother, I fully acknowledge that I am just the instrument and the guide. I allow the Holy Spirit to direct my children in living out their student vocation . My duty as a mother, is to create an environment so my children can learn to listen and obey God's will in their student vocation.

Each member of our family agrees to finish 6 hour of studies everyday with the breakdown of hours explained below. We also have a time for chores. We also seek to go to the Holy Mass and Adoration as often as we can in the week. Our family is a member of the Legion of Mary, so we go to nursing homes and visit the elderly. We have a strong bond with our parish priest, who is an integral part of our family life. We go to Latin mass every Thursday and provide the children with opportunities to go and receive the Sacrament of Penance weekly. Most of all, we aspire to have fun after our school work.

We homeschool all year round because we believe that aside from our family life, their student life is the primary vocation of each of our children. As a result of this approach, we have moved to another stage in our lives. We begun to homeschool through college.

My new website Study at Home with Joy is a continuation of this site. Study at Home with Joy website is for those contemplating to avoid the "student loan" nightmare. I have researched various ways to continue homeschooling our children through college and get an excellent and solid foundation in our Catholic Faith and a head start in their career.

Writing, Essay, Copywork (Suggested Time: 1 Hour)

Writing requires three different strategies for various age groups.  For ages, 11 and under, CatholicRobinson children just do copywork.  When they reach 11 years and up until 7th grade, they write  2-3 pages a day.  In high school, they practice writing 5-paragraph essays.
